Your investment in The Drop-In Learning Center can make a real difference. We rely on donations from individuals and organizations to help fund our programs. By giving your time or resources you'll be able to positively impact our youth, their families, our community, and the services and activities we provide throughout the year.

Help us spread the word --- and invite someone from The Drop-In Learning Center to speak to your school, civic club, business staff, or community organizations. Some of our volunteers are parents, teachers, high school students, college students and representatives that hail from small and large organizations.

Year after year, day after day, volunteers are very much part of our everyday life.  In order to provide the highest quality services possible, we depend on the commitment of a strong corps of dedicated volunteers.

WISH LIST
There are many ways to give. Here are a few of our favorite things.

  • Gift cards for grocery stores (preferably Stop & Shop or Shop Rite), Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

  • Gas cards for youth and their families in need

  • Winter clothing (jackets, coats, mittens, hats, boots)

  • Easels

  • School supplies: paper,pencils,pens, notebooks, binders

  • Back Packs

  • Arts and crafts supplies- Markers,crayons, paint, clay, construction paper

  • Beads, lanyards

  • Office Supplies-Paper, envelopes, paper clips, folders, sticky notes

However, we are unable to accept the following donations:

  • Previously owned stuffed animals

  • Previously owned pillows and bedding

  • Opened toiletries (i.e. lotions, soaps, shaving cream, etc.)

  • Opened cleaning supplies

  • Broken furniture and toys

  • Textbooks

  • Encyclopedias

  • National Geographic magazines

  • Reader's Digest condensed books

  • Water stained, mildewed or coverless books

  • Clothing that is soiled, stained or ripped 

  • Computers more than 4 years old
